The card is free and the transactions are free, plus you reduce the number of checks you have to write. The METRO Check Card also doubles as your METRO ATM Card. Use the card at ATM machines all over the world. You pay no fee for the first 6 transactions each month with Premier Checking or only $1.00 for each transaction with a Basic (Regular) Checking. There is no fee at METRO ATM locations.

Your Visa Check & Cash Card is also an ATM card giving you access to your METRO accounts 24 hours a day. You can get cash, transfer funds between savings and checking, make a deposit or just verify your account balance.

Credit Union Check Card Tips to Remember:

Your check card must be activated once you receive it before it can be used. Activation instructions are on the card.
Always use your check card as a credit at point of sale (POS) machines.
There is no limit on the number of times you can use your card at a point of sale (POS) terminal within a 24-hour period as long as you have the funds available.
The only time you will need your PIN is when you are using your check card at an ATM to withdraw money from your checking account. Check card ATM withdrawals are limited to three withdrawals or $505 within a 24-hour period if funds are available. This policy is to protect you should your card be lost or stolen.
