Membership - Who Can Join

If you work for a sponsoring employer organization or an immediate family member is a current METRO member, you are eligible to join METRO. Retirees of sponsoring employers and their families can also join the credit union.

METRO's sponsoring employers are municipal government units, townships, associations and school districts.

Membership - How you Join

1. Verify that your employer is on our Sponsoring Employers list or check the list to see if an immediate family member is an employee of one of these select employee groups.

2. Obtain a Membership Application:            

    Call METRO at (847) 670-0456 and request an application.

3. Fill out the Membership Application

4. Mail the application with a $50.00 deposit to METRO Federal Credit Union. Once we have the application we will setup an account and contact you with your account number. You may also bring the completed application directly to METRO.
