What is Home Banking?

Home Banking gives you secure Internet access to your credit union accounts, free of a monthly service charge. Use it to access account information such as account balances and transaction activity, search for checks, transfer funds between accounts and order checks.

What are the system requirements?

Home Banking works best with the following system specifications:
Windows
Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000
32 MB RAM (recommended)
800x600 or higher video resolution (recommended)
Internet Access (28.8/56 kbps modem, cable modem, DSL, etc.)
A browser that supports 128-bit encryption (i.e. Netscape Communicator 4.5+, Netscape Navigator 4.06+, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0+)
A browser in which "Cookies" are enabled

How do I enroll for online account access?

If you have a METRO Federal Credit Union account, you can enroll online right now. You will need:
The account number you wish to have access to.
The social security number associated with the account, and click here

What accounts can I access using Home Banking?

All your accounts, Checking, Overdraft Protection, Savings Share Certificates, IRA's, Loans, Credit Card

How much does Home Banking cost?

You can view balances, see if checks have cleared or deposits have posted, transfer funds between accounts and all FREE of a monthly service charge.

How do funds transfers work?

You can transfer funds to and from your checking, savings. You can not transfer funds from an installment loan or from or into a share certificate or IRA. You cannot transfer funds directly from your overdraft protection account. Funds transfers into Loan or Visa accounts are credited as payments.

When are funds transfers processed?

All funds transfers will be processed by the following business day.

What is the maximum funds transfer I can make between my accounts?

The maximum amount of any one transfer is the lesser of the current available deposit or credit balance in the source account.

When is Home Banking available?

In general, Home Banking is available 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.

How current is the account information that I see on the screen?

The account balance and transaction information is usually current and up-to-date through the previous business day. The credit union updates this information at various points throughout the day.

What is the difference between the current balance and the available balance for my deposit accounts?

The current balance is the total amount of funds in your account. The available balance is the amount of funds in your account to which you have immediate access.

What happens if I forget my password?
