METRO’s Community Charter includes portions of Cook, DuPage, Lake, and McHenry Counties, in addition to our Sponsoring Employer Groups.

Membership Eligibility
You are eligible to join METRO if the following applies to you:
- You are employed by one of our Sponsoring Employer Groups
- You live in the boundaries of our community charter
- You are an immediate family or household member of an existing METRO Federal Credit Union member, (Immediate family means that you are a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild of an existing
member or you live in the same household as an existing member.) - You work in the boundaries of our community charter.
- You volunteer within the boundaries of our community charter.
- You worship or attend school within the boundaries of our community charter.
- You have a business within the community charter and/or regularly conduct business in the community.
